• Simmba is a remake of 2015 Telugu blockbuster film Temper.

Temper is released in 2015 starring Junior NTR and Kajal Agarwal as the main protagonist and Prakash Raj as a villain. Temper was directed by Puri Jagannath. Puri Jagan is popularly known for his work in "Pokkiri", which was remade in Hindi as "Wanted" starring Salman Khan. Temper is a story of a corrupted police who turns out to be good later. Simmba is not a frame to frame remake but an adapted story.

• Isha Ambani as a producer.

Isha Ambani is a daughter of well-known businessman Mukesh Ambani. Simba is going to make underproduction of "Reliance Entertainment".

• Ajay Devgan in a cameo.

We will see Ajay Devgn in the role of Bajirao Singham from the franchise Singham. This will be the second time Ajay is doing in Karan Johar's production after Kaal.
